The simpleten theme for WordPress is stylish, customizable, simple, and readable -- make it yours with a custom menu, and background, custom header image support can easily be added. Simpleten supports six widgetized areas (two in the sidebar, four in the footer) and featured images (thumbnails for gallery posts). It includes stylesheets for print and the admin Visual Editor, special styles for posts in the "Asides" and "Gallery" categories, and has an optional one-column page template that removes the sidebar.
This is just a beta release of this theme as there are still some issues that need to be worked out. One of the issues is the top (main) menu, it doesn't display properly in older versions of Internet explorer. The next issue is the header image, this should be an easy fix but I just don't have the time to mess around with adding it in right now.
If anyone is interested in tackling any of the above issues that would be awesome. If you choose to help out and would like to donate your fixes I will update the theme package accordingly.
