The Plain & Simple theme is the same theme that we use on The Search Ninja. It name almost says it at for the looks of this theme, but under the hood there is a lot going on. The theme features an easily configurable menu (with dropdowns), to help your visitors easily navigate your site with ease, it also features a prominent search box at the top. It's a widget ready two column theme, that is designed to be easy to read, for both your human visitors along with the search engine bots (more on this in a minute). When building this theme I focused on making it very easy for your visitors to read and bring their attention to what's really important “your content”.
As I mention earlier as I was building this theme, with your readers in mind I also kept in mind the search engine bots and made sure to wrap all the content inside SEO friendly tags. At the same time I also made sure to keep all the code being output to a minimum, to keep the content to code ratio right in the sweet spot.
