tweaklabs was started to fulfill a missing need in software development, back in early 2008 I was in need of a job portal for a project I was working on. I had never really worked on any software development project of this magnitude before, so my first thought was to outsource the project to a company that would be able to handle something like this and get things moving along quicker than I thought I would be able to. After six months of working with a software development firm, and not seeing much progress other than a template design, I decided that I would need to take matters into my own hands if I ever wanted to get this project launched. After another four months of development I had the job portal that I was looking for launched, by this time I was hooked on developing software and haven't looked back since.
Since than I have been expanding, and now cover everything from simple web development projects to full on software solutions to solve many different computational tasks. To do this I like to employ the right tools for the job, I'll be the first to admit that I dislike using some programming languages but I have decided that if it's the right tool I'll be using it no matter how much hair I end up pulling out along the way. Some of my favorite programming languages to use include Python, PHP, and C, I also use a number of different backend storage facilitates ranging from MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite, and a few others however those listed are my favorites.
As stated before tweaklabs covers a number of different project ranging from web design and development, to full on software design and development. While I mention that I do web design it is by no means one of my favorite tasks so I prefer to stay away from especially after discovering how much I enjoy writing code.
Thanks for your interest in tweaklabs, and feel free to look around at the different projects that have been completed, and let me know if there is anything I can help you with.
